Food Bank of Central New York Golf Open to be Held on Tuesday, July 9

July 01, 2013 at 2:36 PM

The tournament, sponsored by the Kinney Drugs Foundation, has been a successful fundraiser for the organization for several years.  For each of the past three years, funds raised from the single day event have enabled Food Bank to provide more than 37,000 meals each year to people in need throughout the area.

The 18-hole tournament will feature a Captain and Crew format.  Registration is $110 for an individual golfer, or $400 per foursome, and includes greens fees, cart, lunch and dinner.  Twenty-five foursomes are already registered but there are still a few foursomes available.  Golfers interested in supporting the Food Bank should visit or call the Food Bank at 437-1899 ext. 247.
