Panera Bread partners with Food Bank to fight hunger

Panera Bread  is lending support to Food Bank of Central New York’s hunger relief efforts.  Panera has designated the Food Bank as the recipient of their Community Breadbox donation program at nine locations throughout the region.  The funds will contribute to the Food Bank’s distribution of nutritious food to the thousands of individuals and families who depend on the emergency food network.  Panera will also be providing the Food Bank with quality soups throughout the year.

About Panera's Community Breadbox

The Community Breadbox program ensures that donations made at Panera Bread feed back in to the community. A portion of cash donations made by customers in bakery-cafes may be matched by Panera and its franchisees and distributed to local non-profit organizations. Contributions generated through the program have provided basic necessities for those in need. If you would like to contribute to our efforts to assist local non-profit organizations in the communities we serve, please look for the Community Breadbox collection containers at participating Panera Bread locations.
