Safelite AutoGlass Raises $11,900 for Food Bank of Central New York

SYRACUSE, NY – Safelite AutoGlass partnered with Food Bank of Central New York to raise awareness and funds for their hunger-reliefmission during the NYS Fair. Representatives from Safelite staffed a booth where they collected $11,900 in donations for the Food Bank.
On hand to present the check were: Frank Watson, Area Sales Manager; Mike Hinman, Area Sales Manager; Brett Decker, General, Manager; Duane Hromada, Regional Sales Manager and Melanie Watson from Safelite AutoGlass. Accepting on behalf of the Food Bank was Liz Occhino, Special Events and Marketing Coordinator.
Prior to the start of the NYS Fair, Mr. Watson solicited donations from local insurance agents that service our community. When a donation was made to the Food Bank, these agents were listed on a large banner named the Wall of Charity. In addition to these donations, fairgoers were able to donate at the Safelite AutoGlass booth during the 12 days of the event.
