Great food and fun will be enjoyed by all that attend SavorSyracuse 2014! The premier gourmet tasting gala, to benefit Food Bank of Central New York, will be held on April 10th, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., at Holiday Inn on Electronics Parkway, in Liverpool. The event is presented by Wegmans and Welch Allyn with media support from the Business Journal News Network, Syracuse New Times, WAER, WCNY and Y94.
Guests will sample delicious tastings from more than 40 of the region’s restaurants, wineries and breweries. Participating food and drink vendors include 83 & Company, Anthony Road Wine Company, Canale’s, Carnegie Catering, Dr. Konstantin Frank Wines, Gifford’s Ice Cream, Gordon Biersch, Hosmer Winery, King Ferry Winery, Lune Chocolat, Owera Vineyars, Paul deLima Coffee, Peppino’s Catering, Phoebe’s, Sherwood Inn, Southern Wine & Spirits, Standing Stone Vineyards, Tabatha’s Family Tree, Texas be Brazil, Three Brothers Wineries, Tops Friendly Markets, Vernak Farms Country Store, Vince’s Gourmet Imports, and Wegmans.
In addition, SavorSyracuse offers great raffle prizes, a silent auction and the Chef Showdown. This fast-paced cooking competition challenges eight local chefs to create an entrée with a mystery basket of ingredients in only 30 minutes.
