Group Volunteer Opportunities
Groups of up to five volunteers can be accommodated at one time. Group opportunities typically take place in our warehouse Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Volunteers will be asked to sort through non-perishable food donations and package them in boxes based on the designated standards for the donation type. Volunteers will be required to lift small packages (up to 30lbs.) and have good organizational skills. Volunteers will be working in a warehouse and should dress comfortably. Closed toe shoes are required to volunteer in the warehouse. Volunteers for this opportunity are scheduled at least two months in advance.
Volunteer at a Food Bank Event
We are often in need of volunteers to assist at Food Bank events. Many event opportunities take place during the evenings or on weekends. The location and volunteer position is specific to each event. Please click here for more information and to view upcoming event volunteer opportunities.
