Protect Your Summer EBT Benefits from Theft, Change Your PIN Before June 15th!
Due to a high incidence of Summer EBT benefit theft in other states this year, the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (NYSOTDA) is asking families to change the Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) on all Summer EBT cards. To protect your child’s Summer EBT benefits, change your PIN before benefits are issued on June 15, 2026.
There are three ways to update your Summer EBT card PIN. You can change your PIN (1) over the phone, (2) through the online portal, or (3) in the app.
