This year, we’re bringing the conferences directly to our partners by hosting three regional events across our service area. Our goal is to make these conferences more accessible and encourage agencies to bring additional staff, volunteers, and board members to participate.
Our North Country conference will take place on Friday, September 11, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, at Utica University (1600 Burrstone Rd.) in Utica, NY.
Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to combat hunger and food insecurity in our communities? We want to hear from you! Our Hunger Hero Awards recognize the unique contributions of these extraordinary difference-makers.
Suggested nominee categories include: businesses/organizations, individuals making a difference, volunteers or staff members of a food program, and youth (aged 16-25).
Submissions close at midnight on July 31. A committee of Food Bank volunteers, Leadership, and Board members will conduct a blind review and scoring process to select award recipients. The award presentation will take place at the Food Bank’s annual regional Partner Agency Conferences.
