We support your rest, well-being, and a healthy work-life balance. Employees can earn up to 4+ weeks of PTO in their first year, depending on start date and schedule, plus receive 7 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday annually.
The Food Bank offers multiple health plan options through Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and United Healthcare, covering between 70–99% of premium costs depending on your chosen plan. Employee-only coverage starts as low as $10/month, with affordable dental and vision plans from just $1/month. Coverage begins on your hire date for all full-time staff and eligible part-time staff. The Food Bank also offers domestic partner coverage.
Employees are automatically enrolled in our 401(k) after 90 days, with employer-matching after 1 year of service to help grow your savings. The Food Bank provides employer-paid life insurance, as well as short- and long-term disability coverage at no cost, offering added protection for you and your loved ones.
We believe in caring for our team both inside and outside of the workplace. Staff are encouraged to take a daily 30-minute Wellness Break, including access to our on-site gym, to promote physical activity and mental wellness.
